How did you first learn about ESL Lab / CC2UC / CAL Edu?
Throughout Uway, I had a chance to meet Hannah and learned the curriculum of CC2UC.


What do you remember most about your student life at ESL Lab / CC2UC / CAL Edu?
Extracurricular trips (big bear, cruise), volunteer experience in Mexico, and dormitory life


What is the most valuable lesson you’ve learned while you were a student at ESL Lab / CC2UC / CAL Edu?
Learning how to communicate with locals and experience the culture of Americans directly are the most valuable lessons.


What have you gained (skills, habits, advice… etc) from ESL Lab / CC2UC / CAL Edu?
Writing and speaking skills in English, a sense of independence, and some living habits like keeping personal things organized


What have you lost (bad habits, old beliefs, limiting beliefs) while you were a student at ESL Lab / CC2UC / CAL Edu?
Closed mind to experience new things and my bad habits from Korean English


Who / Where / What were you just before you began your journey with ESL Lab / CC2UC / CAL Edu?
I was just one of the ordinary Korean high school students.


What was your motivation behind your decision to join ESL Lab / CC2UC / CAL Edu?
Desire to go to a top-ranked university and a well-organized curriculum with good teachers


If you could go back and give yourself one piece of advice before starting your journey at ESL Lab / CC2UC / CAL Edu, what would it be?
Before studying, it would be better to design a career path considering the future after entering the university and don’t hesitate to speak in English.


What advice do you have for students who are thinking about studying at ESL Lab / CC2UC / CAL Edu?
I hope you understand clearly what your goal is to study and actively participate in all the activities (even talk with J and Shannon) at CAL EDU as much as possible.


How has your experience at ESL Lab / CC2UC / CAL Edu helped you in your current career?
Because it was the moment that I did my best on my own, I gained confidence that I could do anything if I wanted to. And, this confidence motivates me to study for medical school.


Would you recommend ESL Lab / CC2UC / CAL Edu to others? Why or why not?
I highly recommend ESL Lab / CC2UC / CAL Edu for whom to have a firm goal of studying abroad. For them, it would be the best option to experience more than just studying.


What are the most important skills that you use in your current job?
Knowledge of biology and chemistry, and a sense of service


What do you think would have happened, or where would you be now, if you had not made the decision to join ESL Lab / CC2UC / CAL Edu?
Because I’m 22 years old in Korea age, I would be a junior at a Korean university if I had not made the decision to join them.


Can you recall any specific moment or event that happened while you were at ESL Lab / CC2UC / CAL Edu you cannot forget?
Big beat trip was my first and best trip in CC2UC.
